Junior AI Automation Support for Marketing Workflows (Short-Term Project)

We're seeking a junior freelancer with a keen interest in AI-driven marketing automation to help us streamline and optimise our existing growth workflows. This is a short-term project (less than a week) and would suit someone looking to get hands-on with practical AI tools and marketing processes, rather than building from scratch.

The main focus is to assist our team in connecting and improving several marketing automation flows using tools like Zapier or Make, as well as helping with prompt frameworks for basic content or campaign personalisation. You’ll be working alongside our in-house marketer, so clear communication and a proactive approach are important. We’re not expecting deep AI engineering — instead, we want someone comfortable with setting up automations, tweaking prompts, and running QA checks to ensure things work as intended.

We use a mix of AI content tools (ChatGPT, Jasper, etc.), automated email and CRM platforms, and basic chatbot integrations. Tasks may include:

• Configuring or updating simple Zapier/Make automations for lead capture and notifications
• Testing and refining prompt templates for campaign copy or basic chatbot replies
• Assisting with personalisation rules in our email or web flows (using AI outputs)
• QA: running tests to make sure automations trigger correctly and data flows to the right places
• Documenting what’s changed and flagging any issues or opportunities for improvement

We’re cleaning up these flows ahead of a new campaign push, so speed and attention to detail are valued. Previous experience with Zapier, Make, or similar workflow tools is a big plus, but we’re happy to onboard the right junior who is eager to learn. If you have tinkered with AI prompt engineering (even at a basic level), let us know. The main thing is a willingness to test, iterate, and communicate clearly if something doesn’t work as planned.

This project is ideal for someone who wants to build their hands-on experience in AI-powered marketing operations. There’s also potential for more work if this goes well, as we regularly update and expand these workflows.
