Lifecycle Email Flow Audit & Quick Optimisation (2-Day Project)

This project is focused on improving the performance of our current email lifecycle flows. We use Klaviyo to manage automated onboarding, abandoned cart, and basic winback sequences, but engagement rates have been dropping over the last few months. The core task is to review our existing setup, spot bottlenecks, and propose 2–3 actionable tweaks that can be implemented quickly. The ideal freelancer is comfortable with ecommerce lifecycle strategy and can spot low-hanging fruit for retention and reactivation, even on a tight budget.

Our onboarding sequence is three emails, and the abandoned cart flow is standard (one reminder after 2 hours, another after 24). We’re seeing lower open and click rates since last quarter. A quick diagnostic to identify where users are falling off, and recommendations for subject lines, send timing, or content tweaks would be highly valued. If you’ve worked on retention or reactivation campaigns before, even better.

Deliverables:

• Audit our current automated flows in Klaviyo (onboarding, cart, winback)
• Short written feedback on what’s working and what’s not (bullet points or a 1-pager is fine)
• 2–3 quick-win suggestions (subject lines, timing, or segmentation ideas)
• Optional: one improved template (subject + preview + 2–3 lines of copy) for one flow

This is a small project with a 2-day turnaround. We’re looking for someone with practical experience who can provide clear, focused feedback—no generic advice. Quick communication is important as we want to implement changes right away.

Motivation: We’re making these improvements before launching a spring promotion and want to ensure our automations are performing at their best. If this goes well, there may be follow-up work for a full sequence rebuild later in the quarter.
