Junior Email Automation Support for Long-Term Lifecycle Projects

Mar 6, 2026 - Junior

€93.00 Fixed

We're gearing up for a sustained email marketing push across several DTC brands in Europe, and we're seeking junior-level support for ongoing lifecycle marketing work. This is a hands-on, learning-by-doing opportunity for someone who understands the basics of email flows, automations, and retention tactics but wants to deepen their experience over the next few months. The initial commitment is more than 3 months, with a focus on practical execution and steady improvement rather than senior-level strategy.

Our main needs revolve around building and updating automated sequences (welcome, cart recovery, reactivation), supporting newsletter prep, and monitoring basic metrics like open/click rates. You'll help implement campaign briefs in platforms like Klaviyo or Mailchimp, handle segmentation updates, check for broken links, and make sure copy and creative are loaded correctly. Occasionally, you might be asked to pull simple performance reports or flag deliverability issues—no need to be an analytics pro, but you should be comfortable with dashboards and basic troubleshooting.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Familiar with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or similar)
  • Comfortable working with templates, basic copy edits, and image assets
  • Willing to learn about segmentation, A/B testing, and audience triggers
  • Organised and able to keep track of multiple campaigns in progress
  • Open to feedback and able to iterate on tasks quickly
  • Responsive on Slack or email—quick comms are key for a remote team

Day-to-day, tasks might include:

  • Setting up new flows (with guidance)
  • Updating copy/images in existing automations
  • Scheduling and QA'ing newsletters before launch
  • Basic list cleaning and bounce monitoring
  • Flagging issues or unusual performance to the team

You don't need years of experience—just a real interest in lifecycle marketing and a willingness to get your hands dirty. We believe in learning by doing, so you'll get feedback and support as you go, but we expect you to be proactive and detail-oriented. If you’ve dabbled in email campaigns before and want to grow your skills in a live environment, this is a great fit.

The first phase of work will focus on mastering the basics: building out standard flows, helping with campaign setup, and learning our internal processes. As you progress, there’s scope to take on more responsibility, including testing new segments or optimising for better retention. We’re not expecting you to write all the copy or design assets from scratch, but an eye for detail and basic editing ability is important. If you’ve ever fixed a broken merge tag or spotted a typo before a send, you’ll fit right in.

Our team operates across several time zones in Europe, so flexibility and clear updates are valued. The work can be repetitive at times (QA, list checks, template tweaks), but it’s also a genuine chance to see how large-scale lifecycle programs run over time. We’re not looking for a senior strategist—just someone hungry to learn, ready to contribute, and able to manage small tasks reliably for the long term. If you’re interested, send a short note about any experience you have with email platforms or campaign execution (even a university project counts!).

Looking forward to bringing someone on board who’s keen to grow with us. Quick turnaround and attention to detail will be appreciated. In short: help us keep our lifecycle engine running smoothly while you build real-world skills in email marketing.
