We're looking for a Junior Paid Advertising Assistant to help manage and optimise our ongoing campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads. The role is designed for someone eager to learn the ropes of media buying in a real-world setting, with a focus on hands-on execution, daily monitoring, and creative input. You'll be working alongside our small team to support campaign setup, ad testing, and performance reporting for several active accounts.
This is a longer-term engagement (over 3 months), so we're hoping to find someone reliable who can commit to regular weekly support. Your main tasks will involve uploading new creatives, checking budgets and spend pacing, flagging any anomalies, and helping with basic optimisation tasks such as pausing underperforming ads or tweaking targeting based on feedback. You'll also be involved in compiling simple performance reports, so comfort with spreadsheets and basic analytics is a plus.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions if something isn't clear. No senior experience required, but you should have some exposure to Google Ads or Meta Ads—maybe you've helped run a small campaign or assisted with ad uploads before. We don't expect deep strategy work, but we do want someone who genuinely cares about getting results and is open to learning best practices as we go.
Tasks you’ll be helping with include:
- Uploading ads and assets to Google Ads and Meta Ads platforms
- Daily monitoring of budgets, spend, and performance metrics
- Flagging issues (disapprovals, low delivery, etc.) and communicating them promptly
- Making small adjustments to campaigns as directed (pausing, budget tweaks)
- Basic reporting using our templates (exporting data, updating KPIs)
- Supporting creative testing and ad rotation plans
We’re currently restructuring our ad accounts to improve ROAS, so your support will be especially valuable as we roll out new tests and need a fresh set of eyes on campaign details. There’s a good chance for you to get more involved over time if things go well—this could turn into a bigger role with more responsibility as your skills develop.
Strong written English is important, as you’ll sometimes need to write short ad copy tweaks or clarify campaign changes in our Slack. You’ll be supported by our senior media buyer, who will provide clear instructions and feedback. We’re a friendly, collaborative team, and we value open communication and a willingness to learn.
Interested? Please mention any experience you have with Google Ads or Meta Ads in your message. If you’ve helped manage budgets or set up campaigns before, even on a small scale, let us know. Quick turnaround and attention to detail are appreciated. Looking forward to finding someone who’s keen to grow with us!
In short: steady, hands-on support for paid ads with lots of learning opportunity.
