Our e-commerce brand needs a focused analytics health check. We’re running paid ads across Meta and Google, but our conversion tracking and attribution look off. This project is a short-term task (less than a month) to help us spot and fix the most urgent issues in our GA4 and pixel setup. We’ve noticed discrepancies between what’s reported in-platform and what’s actually happening in our backend—numbers don’t match, and events seem to be missing or double-counted.
Scope: You’ll review our current GA4 implementation, Meta pixel, and Google Ads conversion tags. The main goal: make sure our primary events (add-to-cart, purchase, lead) are firing correctly and attributed to the right sources. We’d also like you to check if our server-side tracking is working as intended, especially for iOS traffic. If you spot any obvious data quality issues or misfiring events, please flag them and suggest simple fixes. We’re not expecting a full rebuild—just a practical audit and hands-on tweaks to get the basics working so we can trust the numbers again.
This job is ideal for someone with experience in GA4, Meta pixel, Google Ads conversion tracking, and general data QA. If you’re familiar with event debugging tools and attribution checks, that’s a plus. We’re aiming for a clear, actionable report (bullet points are fine) and a quick call or Loom video to explain what was found and what’s next. The sooner you can start, the better—this is blocking a bigger ad push in May.
In short: audit our analytics stack, fix what’s broken, and help us get reliable numbers for our next campaign. Quick turnaround is appreciated; if this goes smoothly, we may have more work (like dashboard setup or deeper attribution review) in the future.
Let me know if you’ve handled similar analytics troubleshooting for DTC or e-commerce brands. Looking forward to getting this sorted fast!
